John Cutts
Chief Executive and Founder

With over 25 years in the business, John has a wealth of experience as an international investment banker. After starting work as an engineer at Rolls Royce and a period in property asset management, John joined Amsterdam Rotterdam Bank where he worked with George Loudon (who is now non-Executive Chairman of Pall Mall Capital) before becoming Managing Director & Head of Corporate Finance at EBC Amro Bank in 1985. Following a period as Executive Director of European Mergers & Acquisitions at Samuel Montagu & Co, John was appointed Head of European Corporate Finance at the WestLB Group.

After joining Pall Mall Capital in 2000, John acquired and recapitalised the company with co-founder Jacques Rouayroux in 2001.

Jacques Rouayroux
Managing Director and Co-Founder

Jacques started his career with trading group Chimie Afrique where he subsequently became the Chief Executive. After joining SCOA, a member of the Paribas Group, he then held a range of senior management positions with the Compagnie de Suez and its subsidiaries Générale de Belgique (where he was a client of John Cutts), SIPH and Clinvest before founding AYX Finance which provides advice to family owned groups operating in Europe, Africa and China.

Jacques co-founded Pall Mall Capital with John in 2001. He focuses primarily on French clients and their counterparts and also works closely with Polar Consulting, Pall Mall Capital's Italian Alliance Partner. He is based in our Paris office.

Ian P. Dunn
Managing Director

Ian started his career as an executive at select chemical and textile corporations in the UK and US. In 1973 he joined Citicorp in New York, where he became a Vice President and established the European Desk, to provide commercial banking and subsequently investment banking services to corporate clients in the US, Canada and Europe. In 1985 Ian became President of Samuel Montagu, Inc., a subsidiary of HSBC, working with John Cutts and George Loudon during this period.

In 1993 Ian founded Pall Mall Capital Inc (previously Dunn Johnston & Company, Inc.) which is based in the Greater New York area.


Alexander Crawford
Managing Director

Alexander has fourteen years experience in M&A and capital markets. After qualifying as a chartered accountant with KPMG, he joined Flemings in 1994 to work on deals such as the acquisitions of Barings and Kleinwort Benson by ING and Dresdner and the flotation of Billiton. In 1998, he moved to New York to coordinate Flemings' US M&A JV. Following the acquisition of Flemings by Chase and merger with JPMorgan, he led the privatisation of Telkom South Africa, the world's largest and best performing IPO of 2003.

Alexander joined Pall Mall Capital in September 2005 and leads our IPO Advisory Business. He advised Multimedia Polska SA on its IPO and equity raising on the Warsaw Stock Exchange with UBS and CAIB as bookrunners in 2006 and Estavis AG on its IPO and equity raising on the Frankfurt Prime with JPMorgan Cazenove and WestLB as bookrunners in March 2007.


Craig Humphrey
Managing Director

Craig worked in Capital Markets and Equity Derivatives for Kleinwort Benson, UBS and Citibank before entering Corporate Finance in 1999. He completed an internship with NM Rothschild's media team, subsequently joining Credit Suisse First Boston's Media and Telecom Group. He later transferred to the Mergers & Acquisitions product group and has transaction experience across a range of industries.

Craig joined Pall Mall Capital in 2002, working on UK and cross border deals involving private, corporate and private equity clients. He has also worked closely with each of our Alliance Partners.

Dolf Campman
Managing Director

Dolf started his career in strategic management consulting with The MAC Group before moving into Mergers & Acquisitions with Hambros Bank. Nine years later he joined WestLB, where he founded the Media & Telecommunications team and became Executive Director TMT Investment Banking. In 2003 Dolf joined Dawnay Day Corporate Finance as Managing Director of its newly established Media division.

Dolf joined Pall Mall Capital in 2004 to develop the company's TMT capabilities.

Adriana Roman-Holly

Adriana started her career as a financial analyst in Romania in 1996 before moving to the US where she worked in Investment Banking for Brown, Gibbons, Lang & Co., focussing on sell-side transactions for middle market companies throughout the US and internationally. She moved to the UK and in 2003 started working for a London based consulting firm providing business intelligence services to both UK and global clients.

Adriana joined Pall Mall Capital in 2004. She works on a broad range of assignments as well as helping to expand our business in Eastern Europe

Richard J. Speak

Richard began his career as an entrepreneur at the age of 17 running a promotional clothing business in his home town of Blackburn, before selling out to a competitor and joining Ernst and Young LLP in Leeds. After three and a half years in the PLC Assurance and Advisory teams, Richard joined BDO Stoy Hayward’s Corporate Finance team in Leeds where he worked on a wide range of both public and private deals including the Reverse Takeover of Eddie Stobart Ltd on to the UK Official List for £137 million in 2007.

Richard joined Pall Mall Capital in 2007 and works across all sectors of the business. Richard is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Law Degree. He is a full member of the Securities and Investments Institute in the UK.


Philippe Hoett

Philippe started his career with Lehman Brothers Europe in their London-based structured finance team specializing in corporate securitizations, often in the context of acquisitions. During his studies he completed internships in a wide range of financial sector companies including Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, Redi & Partners and the European Investment Fund.

Philippe joined Pall Mall Capital in 2008. He holds an M.Sc. in Finance from EDHEC Business School, France and a Diplom-Kaufmann from ebs Business School, Germany.

Thomas Brunner

Thomas studied in Mannheim and holds a diploma degree in Economics. He started in a corporate finance boutique focused on project finance and M&A transactions in Germany during his final year of studies. Thomas assisted in a cross border sale of a real estate portfolio from a private investor to a real estate investment company exceeding €50M in 2007.

Thomas joined Pall Mall Capital in 2008.

Laura Boeck

Laura joined Pall Mall Capital from JPMorgan where she interned the M&A Advisory Consumer Healthcare Retail as well as the Natural Resources Group. Educated in Germany and the US, Laura moved to the UK in 2004 to read a course in Management with a particular focus on the consumer goods industry. With prior work experience in M&A in the luxury goods industry and investment banking, Laura has started her professional career at Pall Mall Capital’s London office in 2008.

Jean Marc Dubois

Jean-Marc has spent more than 15 years in investment banking in Europe as well the Middle East. He started his career in 1990 as fund manager for GP Banque, a Franco Middle East bank, and managed over USD 200M invested in the Southern Mediterranean. Between 1999 and 2003 Jean-Marc also participated in the launch of several private equity funds and managed the European portfolio of a US family office representing a total amount of USD 150M. In 2003, he developed his advisory ties with Pall Mall Capital concentrating on cross-border investment banking opportunities in Europe and the Middle East /North Africa region.

Jean Marc Dubois joined Pall Mall in 2002.

Gilles Toussaint

Gilles' career started as an internal auditor at Nestlé, France where he progressed to working as the Financial Controller of the Infant Nutrition division. He moved to ATIS REAL France in 2002 working in European Real Estate Services where he was Control and Audit Director.

Gilles joined Pall Mall Capital in 2004 and works closely with Jacques Rouayroux in the company's Paris office.

Audrey Vignau

Audrey started her career by spending two years in Ghana developing a micro credit network for a French NGO. In 2003, she joined a financial institution specialized in microfinance and based in Geneva, BlueOrchard Finance s.a. As an investment analyst, Audrey had been in charge of different portfolios and clients scattered in various emerging countries from Latin America, Africa, India, Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

Audrey joined Pall Mall Capital in 2005.

Paul Zuckerman
Non-Executive Director

Paul Zuckerman has a wealth of business experience spanning nearly 30 years, which began in Nigeria and was then followed by the World Bank in Washington DC where he was responsible for the development of a major lending programme in West Africa. Paul moved to SG Warburg in 1981 where he became Chairman of SG Warburg Latin America Limited and a Vice Chairman of SG Warburg International.
After 14 years, Paul was a founding member of the management team of Caspian Securities and head of Investment Banking. In 1999, Paul founded Zuckermann & Associates LLC as a start-up advisory business with offices in both the UK and US.

Paul joined Pall Mall Capital as a non-executive Director in 2006


George Loudon
Non-Executive Chairman

George started his career in Project Management with the Ford Foundation in New York and Jakarta. He subsequently became a management consultant with McKinsey and Company in the Netherlands before his appointment as General Manager at the New Issue and Syndicate Department of the Amsterdam Rotterdam Bank where he was a member of the Board of Managing Directors. After joining the Board of Midland Bank plc, he served as Chairman and Chief Executive of Midland Montagu.
